Andy Williams was a friend of Bobby Darin's. Bobby appeared as often as he could on
NBC TV's The Andy Williams Show in the 1960's and early 70's. Andy said of Bobby on the
PBS Documentary Beyond The Song, "He always lent so much ... he gave so much to a show."

Robert Goulet and some lucky chorus girls.
Not only was Williams a good friend, he was also a big fan of Bobby's and "loved to watch him work."
Andy and his wife at the time Claudine Longet, along with many other celebrities were in the audience at Bobby's
big Cocoanut grove opening in 1966. Andy was quoted as saying of Bobby that night, "He has courage ... he sings
very excitingly, and he also sings well ... he's got good taste." Williams added jokingly, "And I hate him."
Andy performed to sell out crowds in Branson Missouri at his beautiful Moon River Theatre.
