Bobby to The Rescue

TO THE RESCUE: Credit rock 'n' roller Bobby Darin with some quick action that saved the life of Ronnie Burns' girlfriend, Carol Everle. A slim, trim showgirl at the Sahara hotel in Las Vegas, Carol was water skiing with Ronnie and Bobby on Lake Mead. Suddenly, she fell into the chilly lake, and was under water by the time the boat came around to pick her up. Bobby shot into the water for the rescue like a rocket, and pulled the girl to safety.
