Bobby Darin COME SEPTEMBER
On March 25, 1961, Bobby recorded "Come September," the theme
from
the film he starred in and the B-Side called
"Walk Bach to Me," an instrumental play on words. On the Atco (45-6200) single the songs
were credited to "Bobby Darin & His Orchestra" with a special mention
of "Bobby Darin at the Harpischord" on side 2.
The theme from "Come September" was arranged and conducted
by Robert Mersey, and "Walk Bach to Me" was arranged and conducted
by Fred Norman. Bobby was especially proud of writing the movie theme, as he
says
here. (Audio)
