GRAMMY LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD
We are thrilled and proud to announce Bobby is being honored
with a 2010 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award!!
The National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences Academy is recognizing Bobby as a performer who, during his
lifetime, “made creative contributions of outstanding artistic significance to the field
of recording.”
Many thanks to all who have contacted the Academy, over this long period of time,
in an effort to get Bobby this
award!
The 52nd annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS from the Staples Center in
Los Angeles on January 31, 2010.

HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS WITH BOBBY DARIN
The opening Musical Theatre Tribute performance with a High Tea Luncheon
depicting the life of renowned entertainer,
Bobby Darin, will take place at Ward Melville Heritage Organization’s Educational and Cultural Center in
Stony
Brook Village, New York.
This unique, interactive musical theatrical experience will relive the holiday season
of the 50’s and 60’s in a
tribute to the life of musical legend, Bobby Darin.
Ongoing performances run Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, 11:30am, and Sundays, 12:30pm, now through
January 10, 2010.
Advance reservations are required.

The concert is currently being promoted in the Las Vegas newspaper.

Update 3/23/09: Sad News ...
We were saddened to hear of the passing of songwriter Jack Lawrence.
He died on March 15th as a result of complications following a recent fall in his Connecticut home.
Mr. Lawrence was such a kind and gracious man. Back in November of 2004,
he allowed us to promote his recollections and impressions of
"Beyond the Sea" in
The Story Behind the Song.

FANS HEADING BACK TO LAS VEGAS!
A tribute concert, benefiting The Children's Heart Foundation of Nevada, will be held the evening of May 17th. The South Point Hotel Casino showroom will be hosting the concert. The South Point has also reserved a block of guest rooms for Darin fans at a fantastic daily rate.
