It is with very heavy hearts that we report the death of Bobby's
treasured friend and manager, Steve Blauner.
He passed away Tuesday at his home. He was 81.
"Bobby gave me his life when I had only been in the business a year and a half.
Our deal was he would sing but I would do everything else.
We never had a contract, just a handshake and he always lived by it."

His impact and legacy on entertainment is enormous.
Along with Bert Schneider and Bob Raefelson, Steve formed BBS Productions.

Five Easy Pieces, The Last Picture Show, The King of Marvin Gardens, A Safe Place,
