Update 12/28/2016: REMEMBERING DEBBIE REYNOLDS . . .

We are truly shocked and saddened by the deaths of Carrie Fisher and now her mother, actress-singer Debbie Reynolds.

She was an incredible entertainer, an Academy Award nominee, as well as a humanitarian and film historian.

Bobby and Debbie were good friends and shared great affection for each other. They both appeared on each other's TV programs.

Bobby appeared on Debbie's special And Debbie Makes Six in January 1967. She was a guest on The Bobby Darin Amusement Company in August 1972.

Our hearts are with her son Todd Fisher, as well as the entire family and friends of Debbie and her daughter Carrie. Our deepest condolences go out to them at this heartbreaking time.

Update 12/14/2016: REMEMBERING ALAN THICKE . . .

We are very sad to hear of the passing of Alan Thicke on December 13, 2016.

He was an actor, songwriter, comedian and TV talk show host. After graduating college, as a young writer in Hollywood, he joined the writing staff on The Bobby Darin Amusement Co. television show. Bobby nurtured Alan and trusted him, they became good friends.

Alan once said, "We all have those people we wish we could have seen one more time. Bobby was that for me."

Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Tanya and his three children, including Robin, and to all of his family and friends.

Today we remember Steve Blauner, a successful man in many facets of the entertainment industry.

Above all his accomplishments, his cherished achievement was managing and being a key player in the career of Bobby Darin. It started in the beginning with the early ATCO recordings in 1957 until Darin's death in 1973. Steve would refer to this as "The Comet Ride."
