It is with great sadness
that we report Mr. Al DiOrio
has passed away. Author of definitive Bobby Darin biography, "Borrowed
Time: The 37 Years of Bobby Darin," Mr. DiOrio was
an accomplished biographer and a true friend to the memory and legacy
of Bobby Darin. Mr. DiOrio was known as a kind, sweet man and his
book is considered, by legions of fans, as one of the definitive,
rare resources for information on Bobby Darin. Like Bobby, he is
gone too soon, and is sorely missed. We express our heartfelt condolences
to Mr. DiOrio's family, and will cherish his legacy as we do Mr.
Darin's.
To honor Mr. DiOrio's memory, who suffered from diabetes, we are sure his family would appreciate
