Iíd like to send my deepest condolences to the Sinatra family on the recent passing of Frank Sinatra Jr. I had the chance to spend time with him on two occasions. Many years ago we were introduced to each other in Las Vegas while watching the great Keely Smith perform. A second meeting was about six years ago when my family and I visited with him at a Christmas Eve party hosted by Nancy Jr. I can honestly say that I always respected how he represented his father with class, love and dignity. Being Frank Sinatraís son inevitably must have brought enormous expectation and pressure and yet I feel he handled it very well and that Frank Sr. must have been very proud. In my own humble way I can relate a little bit to what Frank Jr. must have dealt with as both my dad and mom lived very high profile lives.
Nancy Jr. was a dear friend of my dadís and has been loyal to his memory since his passing. She is an amazingly loving woman and she has been very kind to me over the years as well. We share something every year that is a truly poignant and unique bond. My dadís birthday is May, 14th. Frank Sr. passed away on ... May 14th. Nancy and I refer to May 14th as our ďforever day.Ē
To Nancy Jr., Tina and all the Sinatra family my thoughts and prayers are with you. Frank Jr. made the Sinatra name proud and may he now rest in peace in Godís loving grace forever.
