Bobby Darin was a guest on NBC's The Midnight Special which aired Friday, March 16, 1973. This episode was hosted by Paul Anka.

Backed by his four piece band (Bobby "Rosie" Rozario, Terry Kellman, Tommy Amato and Quitman Dennis), Darin began his segment with the mellow "If I Were a Carpenter."

Darin's next number was at the piano. He performed a rousing rendition of "Dream Lover" which broke into "Splish Splash."
