Sonny and Cher Comedy Hour
On November 10, 1972, Bobby Darin guest starred on the hottest variety program of the TV season, The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour on the CBS network.
A musical highlight of the hour was Mr. Darin performing Randy Newman's "Sail Away."
  
Bobby displayed his talent for comedy that had been evident on his own summer variety show The Bobby Darin Amusement Company just months before. Mr.Darin played Clark Kent to Cher's Lois Lane in the infamous "Vamp" segment.

Bobby was also "vamped" by Cher's Sadie Thompson.
 
Mr. Darin also performed with the rest of the cast in a musical comedy spoof of Robin Hood.
Unfortunately, this particular episode of The Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour was not included in the syndication package shown on TVLand.( A real disgrace!)
