The Bobby Darin Show

March 30,1973

Opening

On the ninth episode of The Bobby Darin Show, Bobby welcomed guests Connie Stevens, Andy Griffith and Eric Weissburg & Steve Mandel("Dueling Banjos").Comedy highlights included Bobby's Groucho impression and his impression of Burt Reynolds. Also seen were running jokes that had been used previously in other shows: Bobby reading his fan mail for the week (one letter) and offering to accompany the weeks musical guests (this time it was Weissburg and Mandel) with his harmonica (he was always politely refused). This episode also featured "The Neighborhood."

Bobby's songs included "As Long As I'm Singin'," "Brooklyn Roads" (which resembled an early music video),"I've Got You Under My Skin" and "If I Were a Carpenter." He also sang "You've Got a Friend" with Connie. The hour ended with Bobby's "Mack the Knife."
