I think I became a fan of Bobby Darin when I heard his recording of "Splish, Splash," and I followed everything he did after that with great interest. And I've become an even bigger fan of his music as time goes on. He was a great artist and every time I hear a record of his on the radio I am always surprised at how great he sounds and the particular spin he put on every song he sings. I tried to get Bobby on my TV show as often as I could. He was a favorite because he was such a great performer and he was always funny. I respect him and miss him very much.
