The Legendary
Bobby Darin

Darin at the Copa

  • Label: Atco 33-122
  • Mono & Stereo
  • Entire album available on CD: YES!
  • Chart information: Debuted 10/17/60, peaked at #9 and remained on Billboard's LP
        chart for 38 weeks.

Darin's third straight top ten LP was Darin at the Copa. This album shows the extent
of Bobby's talent in the nightclub world. The LP was taped during Bobby's Copa
debut in June 1960 and received rave reviews.

Variety stated: "Darin's finger snapping, jazzy and extremely hep delivery has its
moments of humor, ease and at all times, a singular brand of charm that make it
    big at this particular scene."

The LP was reissued by Bainbridge and Atlantic on CD and cassette; however, the
reissues have a few seconds edited from "Alright, O.K., You Win."
